After a series of successful seasons, the VMRC race has established its position as the leading event in improving the quality and professionalism of motorcycle racing in the country. Let’s take a look back at some notable highlights of the first stage in June with the unforgettable emotions of the “YOUNG” and “STRONG” racers.

In the young talent category, the Vietnam Talent Cup (NSF100) witnessed the impressive speed performances of potential young riders. With ages ranging from 13 to 17, the riders dedicated an awe-inspiring performance, securing the podium positions for Nguyen Trung Kien, Perez Pham Jordi Nam, and Tran Ngo Khoa. This is the best result for all three young boys compared to the first stage of VMRC 2022. From their respective fifth and sixth place finishes in stage 1 of VMRC 2022, Kien and Khoa were honored in the top-ranking positions this year. Notably, the participation of racers from Taiwan, Perez Pham Jordi Nam, proved the attraction of the national motorcycle racing championship to international friends.

In the semi-professional category, stage 1 of VMRC 2023 witnessed thrilling battles with dramatic turns and twists.

– The Blade 110cc category saw a surprise from the first-place finisher, Hoang Van Thanh. What’s special about this racer is that it was his first participation in a professional championship, yet he brought about many emotions for the audience by overtaking experienced racers after 8 intense and thrilling laps.

– The Winner X 150 category showcased the maturity of racer Tran Gia Huy from the young talent group in VMRC 2022. He made a remarkable breakthrough in the first stage to claim the top spot on the podium. This talented young man promises to shine even more in his career in the upcoming stages.

– The CBR150R category witnessed the pursuit and outstanding breakthroughs of the “race artists.” True to their reputation as experienced racers, the top 3 racers broke away and closely pursued each other in each round, taking turns to exchange blows. Worth noting is the breakthrough of racer Nguyen Vu Thanh, who finished in sixth place but, with his dedicated training, he was able to stand on the podium and proudly proclaim that “nothing is impossible.”

In the professional category, the most experienced riders who are the most skilled in combat skills came together. And indeed, these riders did not disappoint their fans with their spectacular performances. Victory always favors the strongest, and after 12 rounds of racing, rider Huynh Minh Sang from Dream Racing Club proved his unwavering ability by claiming the first-place overall position. Last year, when he finished in third place with regrets, he made progress to demonstrate his maturity and growing strength, reaching the highest position on the prestigious podium.

With impressive results from the first stage, it has proven the careful selection of riders by experts, as well as the determination and will to win from each racer. With the crowning achievements of young riders and breakthroughs surpassing themselves, it has affirmed the right steps taken by the organizers in expanding the age limit of racers in this year’s season.
