The Management Board of Dong Dang – Lang Son Economic Zone informed about customs clearance activities during the Lunar New Year 2024 in China’s border gates.
Specifically, based on exchanges with relevant Chinese agencies regarding customs clearance during the Lunar New Year 2024, it is shown that at the Friendship and Tan Thanh border gates: on 9 February 2024 (i.e., the 30th day of the Lunar calendar year of the Quy Mao zodiac), normal customs clearance will be implemented.
From 10 February to 13 February, China will be on holiday according to regulations; from 14 February to 17 February, customs clearance of pre-registered import and export goods will be implemented. From 18 February, customs clearance will resume normal operations.
At the Chi Ma border gate: on 9 February (i.e., the 30th day of the Lunar calendar year of the Quy Mao zodiac), normal customs clearance will be implemented; from 10 February to 17 February, customs clearance of pre-registered import and export goods will be implemented. From 18 February, customs clearance will resume normal operations.
At the Coc Nam and Na Hinh border gates: on 9 February (i.e., the 30th day of the Lunar calendar year of the Quy Mao zodiac), normal customs clearance will be implemented; from 10 February to 17 February, China will be on holiday according to regulations. From 18 February, customs clearance will resume normal operations.
At the Na Nua border gate, from 7 February to 17 February, customs clearance activities for import and export goods will cease during the Lunar New Year. The Na Nua border gate will resume normal customs clearance operations from 18 February.
Available to handle all situations during the Lunar New Year
According to the functional forces in Lang Son province, at the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, the volume of passengers entering and exiting and goods transported through the province’s border gates increased sharply compared to other times of the year.
From now until the end of 9 February (i.e., the 30th day of the Lunar calendar year of the Quy Mao zodiac), the Management Board of Dong Dang – Lang Son Economic Zone and functional forces at the border gates will arrange officials to work to ensure readiness to serve import and export activities and border activities to take place safely and smoothly.
In addition, forces at the province’s border gates will assign officials to be on duty 24/24 hours to promptly handle incidents and situations that may arise, to prevent passivity and surprises, especially to prevent congestion and traffic jams of vehicles transporting import and export goods at the border gates.
