The Mazda CX-5 Deluxe is now offered with a discount of up to VND 35 million by some dealers in Hanoi and Central Vietnam. The official price of this car is VND 749 million, but now it is only VND 714 million after the discount. Notably, all of the cars on offer are 2025 models. According to car dealers, if customers really have an immediate need to buy, the price can be further reduced by a few million dong compared to the general offer.

In addition to the discount, customers who buy this car will also receive a one-year physical insurance and a service voucher. However, the value of the service voucher varies, with Central dealers offering VND 5 million and Hanoi dealers offering up to VND 15 million.

Previously, in April 2025, Mazda CX-5 also caused a stir in the market when the price of the 2024 model actually started at only VND 694 million.

Thus, although the 2025 version is not discounted as deeply as the 2024 version, it is still enough to make the price of this C-size SUV competitive with B-size SUVs and even lower than the higher versions of its “junior brothers”. For example, the Kia Seltos is priced at VND 599-799 million, the Hyundai Creta at VND 599-699 million, the Mitsubishi Xforce at VND 599-705 million, and the Toyota Yaris Cross at VND 650-765 million.

The significant price reduction is believed to be the main reason for the impressive sales performance of this model in April 2025. Specifically, according to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), Mazda CX-5 sold 1,416 units in April 2025, the highest monthly sales since the beginning of 2025. Compared to the previous month, CX-5 sales increased by 317 units, up nearly 29%. This number also helped CX-5 outsell Ford Ranger and Mitsubishi Xpander for the first time.

The Mazda CX-5 is a C-size CUV in Vietnam, competing in the same segment as the Ford Territory, Hyundai Tucson, Kia Sportage, and Honda CR-V. It offers 6 versions and 2 engine options. The 2.0L gasoline engine option produces 154 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque and is paired with front-wheel drive. The 2.5L engine options generate 188 horsepower and 252 Nm of torque and are mated to an all-wheel-drive system.
