VinFast, the leading Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, has recently introduced an updated pricing strategy for its battery rental customers, offering them the opportunity to purchase batteries at discounted rates. The pricing is determined based on the battery’s depreciation, type, and actual usage.
VinFast clarifies that the battery age may not always align with the rental period or the time of vehicle purchase, as customers may have exchanged their batteries during their usage. In such cases, the pricing will be based on the current battery type the customer is using. To ensure transparency, VinFast will verify the battery’s serial number and cross-reference it with their system to accurately determine the battery’s age and provide a precise price for each customer.
For the B1 battery type (used in the Impes, Ludo, Klara S, and Klara S1 models), the purchase price ranges from 1.2 million VND to 1.446 million VND, depending on the battery’s age, resulting in a discount of 75-86%. The recently developed B2 battery type (also for the Impes, Ludo, Klara S, and Klara S1 models) is priced between 2.11 million VND and 5.02 million VND, offering a discount of 54-81%.
Similarly, the P1 battery type (for the Vento and Theon models) is priced at 1.2 million VND to 3.7 million VND, a discount of 57-86%. The LFP battery type (for the Evo 200, Evo 200 lite, TheonS, VentoS, Kalara S2, and Feliz S models) offers an impressive discount of up to 71%, with a purchase price ranging from 5.7 million VND to 8.6 million VND.

VinFast is extending its loyalty program benefits to all Vietnamese citizens, offering a 4% discount on the purchase of VinFast electric cars and motorcycles. This policy expands on the previous program that offered discounts to employees of local governments, businesses, and VinFast partners.
According to VinFast, starting May 22, “all Vietnamese citizens are considered VinFast’s loyal partners” and are eligible for a 4% discount on vehicle purchases. Additionally, electric motorcycle buyers will benefit from an adjusted sales policy, resulting in a 15-20% reduction in prices compared to previous rates, depending on the model.
