2018 – Cambodia: A Southeast Asian Market Breakthrough
In 2018, Viva chose Cambodia as its international debut in Southeast Asia. This market, culturally close yet challenging, required competing with deeply rooted local coffee consumption habits.

However, Viva’s mission in Cambodia went beyond selling coffee. The brand introduced a closed-loop model, “From Farm to Cup,” encompassing seed cultivation, farming, roasting, and the final brew. Every step is rigorously quality-controlled, setting it apart from the additive-laden coffee prevalent in many regions.
In Cambodia, Viva proved that Vietnamese coffee could conquer regional markets without gimmicks, relying solely on quality and genuine value. This milestone fueled the brand’s confidence to expand further.
2025 – Indonesia: The 08/08 Leap
On August 8, 2025, Viva officially launched its flagship store in Jakarta, Indonesia, the world’s fourth-largest coffee producer. This move was more than a new location—it was a strategic leap to establish Viva’s presence across Southeast Asia.

In partnership with IDStar and EMJI, Viva embarked on an ambitious plan: opening a flagship store in Jakarta, offering an authentic Viva experience from Vietnam; establishing a local roasting facility to ensure fresh, locally tailored flavors; developing sustainable coffee farms in Sumatra, Java, and Sulawesi; training farmers in high-yield, eco-friendly practices; and introducing signature Viva drinks like iced milk coffee, coconut coffee, and salted coffee, infused with Indonesian flavors for a unique experience.
Viva’s Chairwoman, Ms. Lê Thị Ngọc Thủy, shared: “Indonesia is more than a market—it’s a partner and a mentor. We’ve come to listen, collaborate, and build a sustainable coffee future together.”
This initiative showcases Viva’s boldness in entering a global coffee hub while committing to local farmers’ development.
2025 – Singapore: The December Highlight
Following Jakarta, Viva is set to launch in Singapore in December 2025. While Cambodia was a solid foundation and Indonesia a strategic leap, Singapore serves as a global springboard. As Asia’s leading financial, technological, and tourism hub, it attracts millions of international visitors, investors, and young professionals.
In Singapore, Viva aims beyond introducing Vietnamese coffee to the world. The brand is preparing for a larger goal: becoming the first Vietnamese coffee brand to list on an international stock exchange.
A Sustainable Ecosystem – Viva’s Distinction
Unlike many brands focused solely on retail, Viva invests in the entire coffee value chain: organic and regenerative farming to protect soil and ecosystems; post-harvest technology to preserve natural flavors and meet international standards; sustainable roasting to optimize flavor while reducing energy use and emissions; and signature stores where customers experience Vietnamese culture, not just coffee.

In essence, Viva sells more than coffee—it sells a story, a belief, and sustainable values.
Opportunities for the Youth – Franchise with Viva
For young entrepreneurs, Viva offers an exciting opportunity: coffee shop franchising.
Franchisees join a proven system across multiple countries, receiving comprehensive training in operations, brewing, marketing, and management, along with a stable supply of high-quality coffee. Most importantly, they align with a brand that embodies sustainability—a core value for Gen Z and Millennials.
With Viva’s international IPO on the horizon, franchising today means partnering with a global Vietnamese brand, not just opening a coffee shop.
An Invitation to Coffee-Loving Young Entrepreneurs
Viva Star Coffee offers more than coffee—it invites you to join its journey of bringing Vietnamese coffee to the world. With a sustainable ecosystem, international expansion strategy, and commitment to partnerships, Viva provides a platform to thrive in business while spreading cultural values.
