China Leads FDI in Tay Ninh with Nearly $10 Billion in Registered Capital

On September 22, representatives from Tay Ninh Province announced that, as part of the Local Connectivity Program in South Korea and China organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the province’s leadership engaged in various investment promotion activities. The program aims to strengthen diplomatic relations, cultural exchange, economic cooperation, and investment.

The Tay Ninh delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh Province.

At the Vietnam-China Tourism and Investment Promotion Forum, Mr. Huynh Van Son, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, highlighted that Tay Ninh has become a top destination for Chinese investors.

Among over 40 countries and territories with projects in the province, China leads in both the number and scale of investments, with 988 projects totaling nearly USD 10 billion, accounting for over 41% of the province’s total FDI.

Chinese enterprises have become strategic partners, closely collaborating with Tay Ninh’s development, significantly contributing to export growth, trade surplus, and socio-economic advancement.

Provincial leaders emphasized that these achievements not only demonstrate the deepening cooperation but also open new, breakthrough opportunities, positioning Tay Ninh as a vital link in the Vietnam-China economic partnership.

Tay Ninh boasts rich and diverse tourism resources, notably cultural and festival tourism, ecotourism, and historical tourism. Iconic destinations include Ba Den Mountain, known as the “Roof of the Southern Region,” Dau Tieng Lake, and Lo Go-Xa Mat National Park (an ASEAN Heritage Park). The province also hosts vibrant festivals such as the Ba Den Spring Festival, Vegetarian Food Festival, and Trang Bang Rice Paper Festival, attracting millions of visitors annually.

Additionally, Tay Ninh attracts investment with its transparent, stable, and business-friendly environment, synchronized infrastructure, streamlined administrative procedures, and e-government services. The province’s motto is “The success of businesses is the success of the province.”

“We warmly invite investors to explore strategic sectors such as green economy, semiconductor industry, supporting industries, renewable energy, tourism infrastructure, and high-tech agriculture combined with ecotourism—key areas for future growth,” Mr. Son stated.
