Mê Linh Emerges as a Hotspot for Real Estate Investors with Hanoi’s Most Expensive Double-Decker Bridge and Connecting Road Network

Nestled in the burgeoning Me Linh urban area, residents enjoy seamless connectivity to Hanoi’s city center via National Highway 2, Ring Road 3, and the iconic Thang Long and Nhat Tan bridges. Future developments promise enhanced accessibility with two additional bridges, two new ring roads, and two metro lines, further solidifying its status as a premier urban hub.

Me Linh stands as the only area near Hanoi’s city center with vast, undeveloped land. Its low property prices are increasingly attracting Hanoi investors.

Thus, roads connecting to the city center are paramount. Residents can currently access central Hanoi via National Highway 2, Ring Road 3, and the Thang Long and Nhat Tan bridges.

The Thang Long Bridge route is the most convenient, covering approximately 20 km to Cau Giay. As Hanoi’s only two-tiered bridge with a railway, its wide lanes and stable traffic ensure an average travel time of just 35–40 minutes, seamlessly connecting Sun Me Linh residents to western districts and the city center.

The Nhat Tan Bridge route is another popular choice. As Hanoi’s most expensive completed bridge (over VND 13.6 trillion), it directly links to key administrative and commercial hubs like Tay Ho and former Ba Dinh, despite being 5 km longer. Photo: Thao Quyen.

However, during peak hours, critical junctions like Thang Long – Pham Van Dong and Nhat Tan – Vo Chi Cong often experience congestion, doubling travel times from Me Linh to central Hanoi to 60 minutes.

In this context, the Thuong Cat Bridge is expected to transform transportation in Me Linh, Dong Anh, and western Hanoi. With a budget of over VND 7.3 trillion, this project ensures seamless integration with Ring Road 3.5.

Upon completion in 2027, the bridge will connect Me Linh to western Hanoi, significantly reducing travel times to former Bac Tu Liem.

Additionally, Me Linh projects benefit directly from Ring Road 4, a strategic regional highway. Spanning over 100 km across Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, and Hanoi, it modernizes inter-regional connectivity and reduces inner-city traffic. Once complete, Ring Road 4 and the Hong Ha Bridge will enable Me Linh Luxury Urban Area residents to reach Tu Liem and former Ha Dong in just 30 minutes.

Notably, future Me Linh residents will benefit from Metro Lines 7 (Me Linh – Nhon – Van Canh – Duong Noi) and 9 (Me Linh – Noi Bai). These lines will shorten commutes to central districts, alleviate road congestion, enhance northern Hanoi’s connectivity, and increase resident convenience.

Beyond its connectivity to Hanoi, Me Linh is just 8 km from Noi Bai International Airport, accessible in under 20 minutes via Vo Van Kiet Road. This proximity also facilitates travel to nearby provinces like Thai Nguyen and Phu Tho.

Me Linh’s infrastructure is rapidly developing with key routes like the Me Linh main axis, Roads 23, 35, and Dai Thinh. With major players like Sun Group, T&T, MIK, and Phu Long investing here, Me Linh is poised to become Hanoi’s next hotspot.
