HAGL reported that the company had proactively implemented preventive measures, including reinforcing banana plant supports in areas nearing harvest and inspecting water reservoirs. As a result, the company’s banana plantations were reported to be safe.

Specifically, banana plantations in southern Laos and northeastern Cambodia were entirely unaffected. In Gia Lai province, while some plantations were impacted, the damage was minimal. Localized banana plant toppling was recorded at 3% in certain areas. All of the company’s water reservoirs remained secure after the storm.

HAGL affirmed that its banana supply chain remains stable, with no impact on export contract schedules or the 2025 financial plan. The company expects production in November and December to meet targets, leaving the 2025 revenue goal for the banana sector unchanged. Currently, processing plants and cold storage facilities are operating normally.

In Q3 of this year, HAGL recorded revenue of 1,905 billion VND, an increase of 442 billion VND compared to the same period last year. After deducting expenses, Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s after-tax profit reached 432 billion VND, a 23% increase compared to Q3 2024.
