Here, they can enter the license plate number, vehicle type, and captcha code. After that, select “Search” to receive the results of the violation check.
Additionally, citizens can check for violations through the VneTraffic app by following these steps:
Step 1: Download and install the VNeTraffic app on your phone from the App Store/CH Play.
Step 2: Log in to your account.
If you don’t have an account, register one by following these steps:
Select “Register,” then scan the QR code in the top right corner of your ID card. Verify your information, enter your phone number, and click “Confirm.”
The system will send an OTP code to your phone; enter the OTP and set a password.
Step 3: To check for personal violations, select “Violation Search.”
Step 4: Enter the vehicle license plate number and click “Check.”

In response to the growing trend of vehicle operators obscuring license plates to evade AI-powered traffic cameras and avoid penalties, the Traffic Police Department has stated that such actions constitute deliberate violations. As a result, they are actively exploring and proposing stricter penalties to deter this behavior.
