HONOR has officially launched its latest smartphone, the HONOR X9d, in Vietnam through a grand event held on the evening of December 6, 2025, at Nguyen Hue Walking Street in Ho Chi Minh City. Departing from traditional tech launches, HONOR opted for an outdoor concert featuring performances by Quân AP, Trang Pháp, and WEAN, drawing thousands of young attendees.

Beyond entertainment, the event allowed guests to directly experience the device’s durability through real-world tests such as drop resistance, water immersion, and simulations of harsh environments, creating a significant buzz at launch.

Positioned as a mid-range smartphone with a strong focus on durability, the HONOR X9d boasts a 5-star certification from SGS Switzerland. It can withstand drops from heights of up to 2.5 meters and meets the highest IP69K dust and water resistance standards, allowing it to endure high-pressure water jets at elevated temperatures.

The Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop system, combining non-Newtonian fluid materials and advanced tempered glass, effectively absorbs and disperses impact forces, minimizing cracks upon collision. The device also features a new three-layer waterproofing structure, ensuring stable operation in heavy rain, muddy conditions, or brief water submersion.

A standout feature of the HONOR X9d is its 8,300 mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest in Vietnam’s current market. According to HONOR, the device can operate continuously for up to three days under normal usage and over 48 hours under intensive testing conditions.

Test results indicate the device can deliver over 52 hours of music playback, nearly 24 hours of online video streaming, and more than 16 hours of gaming. Advanced battery management technology ensures stable performance across a wide temperature range from -30°C to 55°C, with a battery lifespan of up to 6 years. The device supports HONOR SuperCharge 66W fast charging and reverse charging, enabling power sharing with other devices.

In terms of user experience, the HONOR X9d features a 108MP main camera with optical and electronic image stabilization, along with AI-powered features like object removal, photo enhancement, glare reduction, and detail refinement. Its 6.79-inch AMOLED display offers a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in direct sunlight. Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, the device comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

During the event, HONOR Vietnam announced a support program for users affected by natural disasters and donated 200 million VND to residents in Central Vietnam.

The HONOR X9d is available at prices of 9,990,000 VND (8GB+256GB), 10,990,000 VND (12GB+256GB), and 11,990,000 VND (12GB+512GB). During the initial sale period, customers can enjoy a 1 million VND discount or opt for a gift package worth 1.5 million VND.
