According to the Bac Ninh Department of Agriculture and Environment, the total land area expected to be reclaimed for the Gia Binh International Airport project exceeds 1,884 hectares. This includes over 159 hectares of residential land, more than 1,184 hectares of agricultural land, over 415 hectares of non-agricultural land, and approximately 124 hectares designated for national defense and security purposes.
The project is anticipated to impact around 7,100 households, individuals, and 118 organizations due to land reclamation. Among these, approximately 5,800 households and individuals will need to relocate and resettle. The total number of graves requiring relocation is estimated at 18,800, excluding unidentified ownerless graves.
Regarding the resettlement plan, Bac Ninh province plans to allocate approximately 5,800 land plots for the Gia Binh International Airport project. The area is calculated based on the necessary resettlement plots and land designated for complete public infrastructure in the model residential area planning.
