Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh Engages with Top Global Crypto Exchanges, Invites Binance to Establish Headquarters in Da Nang

During his official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hòa Bình held significant meetings with Bybit and Binance, two of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, as part of his high-level engagements.

During a meeting with Bybit, a company boasting over 2.5 million users in Vietnam (approximately 15% of the market) and the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the UAE, the CEO of Bybit applauded Vietnam’s initiative to pilot digital assets and establish an international financial hub.

Bybit expressed readiness to support the development of a legal framework, share international expertise, and contribute to workforce training in Vietnam.

The Deputy Prime Minister congratulated Bybit on its success, emphasizing the importance of creating a pilot legal framework for digital assets. He also urged the company to continue partnering with Vietnam in this endeavor.

In a separate meeting with the CEO of Binance, the world’s leading digital asset trading platform, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed a desire for Binance to establish an office in Da Nang and collaborate closely with Vietnam’s international financial center in launching a cryptocurrency exchange.

On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister invited Mr. Richard Teng, CEO of Binance and former CEO of Abu Dhabi Global Market, to serve as a senior advisor for the development of Vietnam’s International Financial Center.

Mr. Richard Teng, representing Binance, agreed to share expertise and collaborate closely to develop the cryptocurrency market in Vietnam. He also committed to sharing insights from Abu Dhabi’s experience in building an international financial center.

During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister witnessed the signing of an MOU between Binance and the Da Nang People’s Committee for the development of blockchain technology and digital assets.
