Hanoi Installs 247 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Across Multiple Streets

Transerco, Hanoi's leading transport corporation, has announced impressive results for the first nine months of the year. Their bus services have operated smoothly, transporting over 162 million passengers. Notably, the company has made significant strides in its green transition efforts, installing 247 charging stations across various locations and streets.

According to Transerco’s leadership, public passenger transportation by bus remained stable in the first nine months of 2025. The corporation operated over 2.43 million bus trips (achieving 96% of the plan) and served an estimated 162 million passengers.

Additionally, the corporation maintained its market share and stabilized operations for 44 re-tendered bus routes starting from April 1, 2025. They also adjusted schedules for 22 routes, optimized the itineraries of 14 routes, and introduced a new branch route to extend services to Minh Châu, the most remote commune in Hanoi.

The corporation reviewed, restructured, and balanced the fleet size for 17 routes to enhance efficiency in the new tender cycle. They replaced 16 vehicles and added reserve buses for 8 routes, ensuring stable operations and better service quality.

In the first nine months, Transerco also fulfilled Hanoi’s A80 service mandate by operating 11 bus routes with 5,085 additional trips. These routes connected train stations, bus terminals, airports, and city transfer points to the National Exhibition Center, catering to local and international visitors.
