The Vietnamese government has announced the appointment of several new Vice Chairpersons for the People’s Committees of various provinces and cities across the country. These appointments were made through decisions issued by the Prime Minister and come as a result of the recent mergers of administrative units.

Ca Mau Province (New)
Decision No. 1302/QD-TTg appoints the following individuals as Vice Chairpersons of the People’s Committee of Ca Mau Province for the 2021-2026 term:
- Mr. Lam Van Bi, Member of the Provincial Party Committee of Ca Mau for the 2020-2025 term and Vice Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Committee of Ca Mau for the 2021-2026 term.
- Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Member of the Provincial Party Committee of Ca Mau for the 2020-2025 term and Vice Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Committee of Ca Mau for the 2021-2026 term.
- Mr. Le Van Su, Member of the Party Committee of Ca Mau Province for the 2020-2025 term and Vice Chairperson of the Provincial People’s Committee of Ca Mau for the 2021-2026 term.
- Mr. Huynh Huu Tri, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee of Bac Lieu for the 2020-2025 term and Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Lieu Province for the 2021-2026 term.
- Mr. Huynh Chi Nguyen, Member of the Party Committee of Bac Lieu Province for the 2020-2025 term and Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bac Lieu Province for the 2021-2026 term.

- Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Member of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Vice Chairperson of the Can Tho City People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
- Mr. Vuong Quoc Nam, Member of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Vice Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
- Mr. Nguyen Van Khoi, Member of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Vice Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
- Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, Member of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hau Giang Provincial People’s Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

“Access 300 Million VND in Personal Loans, No Collateral Needed”
The new unsecured loan limits for individuals and households have been raised to 300 million VND, a significant increase from the previous range of 100 to 200 million. This change aims to empower more people to achieve their financial goals and meet their borrowing needs. For cooperatives and alliances, the lending limit has been raised to 5 billion VND, a substantial jump from the previous range of 1 to 3 billion. These revised limits offer greater financial flexibility and opportunities for growth and development within these organizations.

“Rep. Pham Van Hoa proposed an increase in the number of vice-chairpersons at the provincial People’s Committee level, suggesting that the number should be proportional to the population size and area of each province. In addition, he recommended against allowing communal-level administrative units to establish their own public administration centers.”
