Viglacera Corporation (HOSE: VGC) has announced the resignation of Mr. Quách Hữu Thuận, Deputy General Director in charge of the tile and communication department. Mr. Thuận submitted his resignation on November 14th, effective December 1st, which was officially accepted by the VGC Board of Directors on the same date.

Born in 1974, Mr. Quách Hữu Thuận holds a Bachelor’s degree in Silicate Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration. He has served as Deputy General Director since March 2021. In addition to his role at VGC, he is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Viglacera Hạ Long and holds management positions in several subsidiaries, including Viglacera Tile Trading JSC and Viglacera Packaging and Brake Linings JSC.

According to the Q3/2025 financial report, Viglacera’s net revenue reached VND 3,254 billion, a 65% decrease compared to the same period last year. After-tax profit was VND 118 billion, down 88%. The company attributed this decline to seasonal factors and adverse weather conditions (heavy rain and storms) impacting production and business activities.

For the first nine months, cumulative net revenue reached VND 9,337 billion, a 14% increase year-on-year. After-tax profit stood at VND 851 billion, up 49%.

The tile segment recorded revenue of over VND 2,736 billion, a 9% increase, accounting for 29% of total revenue and remaining Viglacera’s largest segment. Other key segments include glass and mirrors (15%), bricks and tiles (9%), and land leasing for infrastructure development (25%).

After a sharp rise to VND 65,000 per share, VGC shares began to decline from mid-August 2025 and currently stand at VND 44,150 per share (as of December 3rd). Market capitalization is VND 19,794 billion.

On October 20th, another Deputy General Director, Mr. Lương Thanh Tùng, also resigned to focus on his role as General Director of GELEX Infrastructure JSC, which directly owns over 50% of Viglacera’s capital. The VGC Board of Directors approved his resignation and appointed Mr. Bùi Lê Cao Kế as his successor, effective November 1st.
