Le Quang Dao road extension is one of the key projects of Hanoi city, which is being invested by the People’s Committee of Nam Tu Liem district and started in the first quarter of 2023. This project has a length of 2.6 km with a total investment of over 740 billion VND (photo: nhadepthudo).
The starting point of the project connects with Le Quang Dao road and intersects with Thang Long Avenue (located in Me Tri ward, Nam Tu Liem district), forming an intersection of approximately 110 meters long and 100 meters wide. This area is planned to be Vinhomes Green Bay 2 project by Vingroup.
According to the design, the road will meet the regional road standard with a speed limit of 60 km/h. The typical cross-section width of the road is 40 meters. It is noted that, after more than a year of construction, the section from the intersection of Thang Long Avenue – Le Quang Dao road to Dai Linh street is basically completed.
A bridge over the Nhue River is being constructed on the route. Workers and machinery are being accelerated to complete the items on schedule.
From Dai Linh street (across the Nhuue River bridge) to 70 street, the road frame has been formed but has not been constructed yet.
The next section of the extended Le Quang Dao road will pass through the Louis City Dai Mo project by FLC Group.
Then, the section from 70 street to Anland LakeView apartment complex is being implemented. The remaining section from Anland LakeView apartment complex (along Ngo Thi Nham street) to the intersection of Le Trong Tan street (Ring Road 3.5) has mostly been completed and put into operation.
The completed section of the extended Le Quang Dao road passes through the Thien Van Hoc park and Duong Noi urban area.
Next, the extended Le Quang Dao road will be connected to Le Trong Tan street (Ring Road 3.5). However, the final section of the route has not yet been cleared.
It is expected that by April 1, 2024, the entire extended Le Quang Dao road will be completed and put into traffic operation to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the establishment of Nam Tu Liem district. The completed road will be fully synchronized with technical infrastructure and traffic according to the general planning of Nam Tu Liem district and Hanoi city.
