The General Department of Taxation has just announced Decision No. 112 appointing Mr. Nguyen Tien Minh as Deputy Director of Hanoi Tax Department, in charge of Managing Revenues from Land. The decision is effective from February 1, 2024.
In his acceptance speech, the new Deputy Director of Hanoi Tax Department, Mr. Nguyen Tien Minh, promised to give his all, both in terms of ability and dedication, to uphold the unity and tradition of the whole department in fulfilling all assigned tasks. He also pledged to promote administrative procedure reform, creating favorable conditions for the people and businesses.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Minh, born in 1972, has more than 30 years of experience in the taxation sector. Before being appointed as Head of the Department of Revenue Management from Land, Mr. Nguyen Tien Minh served as the Director of Ha Dong Tax Department.
With the appointment of another Deputy Director, the Hanoi Tax Department now has the Director, Mr. Vu Manh Cuong, and 5 Deputy Directors: Mr. Nguyen Tien Truong, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, Mr. Tran Quang Hung, and Mr. Nguyen Tien Minh.
The Hanoi Tax Department is one of the two largest tax departments in the country. Its structure consists of 21 Departments and 25 Tax Divisions, with nearly 3,800 employees. The Hanoi Tax Department manages approximately 300,000 businesses, accounting for 20% of the total number of businesses in the country.
