The People’s Procuracy of Phu Yen province has prosecuted Mr. Pham Dinh Cu for the crime of “Violation of regulations on management and use of state assets causing loss, waste” according to Article 219 of the Penal Code. Considering the nature, extent, cause, and consequences of the violation; Based on the Party’s regulations, the Provincial Party Committee’s Executive Board of Phu Yen province proposes to grant competent authority to consider and implement disciplinary measures against Mr. Pham Dinh Cu, former Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Yen province.
The Provincial Party Committee’s Executive Board of Phu Yen province has decided to implement disciplinary measures against Mr. Do Duy Vinh, former Director of the provincial Department of Finance, in the form of expulsion from the Party. During his tenure as Director of the Department of Finance, Mr. Do Duy Vinh violated the Party’s regulations and the laws of the State, signing documents requesting the People’s Committee of Phu Yen province to allow unauthorized land use transfers, causing loss of state property.
