The main customers bring their pets for grooming before Tet and make reservations for their pets to stay when they cannot bring their dogs or cats back to their hometowns or travel during Tet.

Ms. Hue Oanh (from Go Vap District) who is waiting for the grooming said she had spent about 300,000 VND for full hygiene and trimming of the fur, making the pets clean, tidy, and beautiful for Tet.

She shared that her smart pet understands everything, even though this is her first pet and she doesn’t have much experience.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi, the owner of the pet hotel Nha Ba Tao – Kat Motel (Binh Thanh District – Ho Chi Minh City), the demand for people to send their pets for care during Tet increased significantly from late December 2023 until mid-January 2024, and all rooms have been fully booked by now.

Each room is equipped with air conditioning and air purifiers to ensure the health of the pets. Besides, they are also provided with other services such as eye, nose, and ear hygiene, fur brushing, etc.

“The hotel currently has 2 room types, standard (2-3 pets/room) and VIP (4-5 pets/room) at prices ranging from 160,000 – 240,000 VND/day, including a 3-course meal consisting of chicken breast and grains; during Tet, there is an additional charge of 30%, but all the rooms have been fully booked since mid-January. For pet owners who want better care, I am still here to support them,” said Ms. Nhi.
