Specifically, due to unfavorable market conditions for the previous “missed” buying spree from January 17 to February 15, the foreign fund Platinum Victory Pte. Ltd (Singapore) continues to register to buy nearly 20.9 million VNM shares from February 21 to March 21, 2024, through agreement or matching orders.

Currently, Platinum Victory Pte. Ltd owns nearly 221.9 million shares, accounting for 10.62% of VNM’s capital. If the transaction is successful, this foreign fund will increase its ownership to 242.7 million shares, equivalent to 11.62%.

Previously, another foreign fund, F&N Dairy Investments Pte Ltd (Singapore), also failed to purchase any VNM shares out of the registered 20.9 million shares from January 9 to February 7, 2024, due to unfavorable market conditions.

Similar to Platinum Victory Pte. Ltd, F&N Dairy Investments Pte Ltd continues to purchase the previously registered nearly 20.9 million shares from February 19 to March 19, 2024, through agreement and matching orders for investment purposes.
