Mr. Tran Thien Ha, the CEO of APG Securities Corporation (APG ticker), has announced that he has sold 800,000 shares of APG in the session on February 20th for personal purposes. After the transaction, his ownership has decreased from 1.81 million shares (1.18%) to 1.01 million shares (0.66%).
This selling action by the CEO comes at a time when APG shares are undergoing a correction after a sharp increase. At the end of the session on February 20th, APG’s share price stood at VND 14,400, up more than 60% compared to the end of October 2023. At this price level, Mr. Ha can potentially earn around VND 11.5 billion.

In terms of business results, APG Securities reported 2023 operating revenue of nearly VND 221.6 billion, more than 2.1 times compared to 2022, mainly due to profits from holding investments until maturity (HTM). After-tax profit was VND 141.5 billion, while in 2022, it had a net loss of VND 190.2 billion.
By the end of 2023, the fair value through profit or loss (FVTPL) financial asset portfolio of APG Securities (all of which are shares) had an original value of VND 478.2 billion. The HTM portfolio included VND 771 billion of fixed-term deposits lasting three months or more.
