On February 22, in a phone conversation with < em > Tien Phong , Mr. Le Thanh Hai – Chairman of the Board of Directors of XSKT Ca Mau Co., Ltd. – confirmed that the information about a customer winning 14 special prize lottery tickets with a total value of 28 billion VND (2 billion VND per ticket, before taxes) is true, and the system has recorded the winning tickets that were sold (not returned).

“The winning tickets were issued in Tra Vinh province and the draw was held on February 19,” Mr. Hai said.

When asked about the normal number of tickets being 12, but the winner received 14 tickets, Mr. Hai added that in one draw before Tet and in 3 draws after Tet, the companies were allowed to increase the number of tickets from 12 to 14.

Earlier, as < em > Tien Phong reported, on some social media platforms, there were discussions and shared images of a woman holding 14 winning lottery tickets issued by XSKT Ca Mau on February 19, 2024. The total value of the 14 tickets’ winnings is 28 billion VND (before taxes).

Mr. Luu Quoc Duy (in Tra Vinh City, Tra Vinh province) – the owner of a lottery ticket agency – confirmed that the shared images on social media were of his wife. The photos were taken when his wife was holding the 14 winning lottery tickets (special prizes) issued by XSKT Ca Mau to exchange with customers.

After deducting taxes and exchange fees for the agency, the winner received over 1.79 billion VND for each winning ticket (a total of 14 tickets).
