Sharing the idea behind MB Stellar, representatives from Fantastic Eggs – Brandformance Creative Agency under OMverse – said that they were inspired by the “assignment” given by MBBank, which was to create a new “beyond banking” product to reach the “fearless generation” – Gen Z.
As a result, Fantastic Eggs conducted in-depth research on this target group and discovered their characteristics, such as a desire for exploration, willingness to try new things, personalization, and living with their own identity. In addition, the research team also identified the rising trend of various wearable payment options in developed countries, not only limited to smartwatches but also including payment bracelets and rings. These two important pieces have helped Fantastic Eggs create MB Stellar, combining both convenience and fashion.
Many opinions at the event suggested that MB Stellar could further develop to cater to Gen Alpha. Gen Alpha, born between 2010 and 2024, has early exposure to technology and social media, and is predicted to be very open to new experiences and actively participate in digital interactions.
