HANA Seed Company, a subsidiary of ADI Investment and Agricultural Development Joint Stock Company, recently held a kick-off ceremony to launch production and business activities in the Year of the Horse 2024.
Attending the event were Mr. Trinh Tuan Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Duc Giang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa Province, along with representatives from various departments, Quang Xuong district leaders, as well as the staff and workers of HANA Seed Company.
During the ceremony, the leaders of HANA Seed Company presented an overview of the production and business situation in 2023, as well as the goals and plans for 2024.
Despite facing many difficulties in 2023, the company’s production and business operations remained stable, with a total revenue of over 400 billion VND. The company produced and supplied over 2,000 tons of rice seeds and 200 tons of corn seeds to the market. They also imported and distributed over 10,000 tons of high-quality organic fertilizers and 300 tons of plant protection chemicals.
The company’s new projects are being invested in and implemented according to plan. The company is currently constructing a plant for the production of plant protection chemicals and fertilizers in Bim Son Industrial Park, with a total investment of 130 billion VND. It is expected to start operating in the fourth quarter of 2024. In addition, the company actively participates in charity and humanitarian activities. In 2023, the company provided support of over 3 billion VND to policy beneficiaries and people in disaster-affected areas.
2024 is expected to be a year of many difficulties and challenges, but with confidence in the sustainable and long-term development prospects of the country and Thanh Hoa province, the company has set the goal of achieving growth in all production and business indicators. The estimated consumption volume is about 2,500 tons of rice, over 15,000 tons of organic fertilizers, and 350 tons of plant protection chemicals, with a revenue of 450 billion VND. This will create more jobs and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.
On the same day, Hanoi Beer Joint Stock Company – Thanh Hoa branch also held a ceremony to launch production activities in the Year of the Horse 2024. The event was attended by Mr. Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Thanh Hoa, along with several provincial leaders and representatives.
According to the report of Hanoi Beer Joint Stock Company – Thanh Hoa branch, the total beer production output in various types reached 36.4 million liters in 2023, equivalent to 87.93% of the plan. The total beer consumption (consolidated figures) reached 79.27 million liters, equivalent to 89.47% of the plan. Net revenue from sales and service provision (consolidated figures) reached 1,506.7 billion VND, equivalent to 87.62% of the plan. State budget contribution amounted to 263.30 billion VND, equivalent to 84.25% of the plan.
On the first day, all the staff and employees of Hanoi Beer Joint Stock Company – Thanh Hoa branch started production with high enthusiasm and determination, striving to increase the production and business indicators of the company in 2024 by 6% to over 10% compared to 2023. The estimated total consumption volume is 84.97 million liters. Net revenue from sales and service provision is expected to reach over 1,650 billion VND, and the state budget contribution is nearly 300 billion VND. The company will re-plan key markets and actively work with partners to promote and increase the production of Thanh Hoa beer for export markets.
Also on the first day of production after the Lunar New Year holiday, Hanoi Beer Joint Stock Company – Thanh Hoa branch delivered new shipments to dealers and retail stores in the province.
