Lenovo showcased its “incredibly futuristic” ThinkBook laptop with a transparent screen at the MWC 2024 (Mobile World Congress 2024). The laptop features a bezel-less 17.3-inch MicroLED display, capable of transmitting 55% of the light from the back of the screen. Lenovo revealed that the ThinkBook has a maximum screen brightness of 1000 nits, making it one of the brightest laptops on the market today.

The back of the ThinkBook laptop features an outward-facing camera. According to PCWorld journalist Ashley Biancuzzo, the product is capable of interacting with the real world through object recognition technology. As a result, it can identify objects behind the screen and provide basic information about them.

Lenovo claims that the ThinkBook has a touch screen with a digital interface. Notably, users can deactivate a portion of the keyboard and use that area as a touchpad.
