PTC has acquired 3.25 million HJS shares of Náºm Mu Hydropower Joint Stock Company (HNX: HJS) during the period from 06-23/02/2024, increasing its ownership in HJS from over 590 thousand shares (2.81% stake) to over 3.84 million shares (18.29% stake), officially becoming a major shareholder.
It is worth noting that during the aforementioned period, only over 40 thousand HJS shares were matched, while there were 3 block deals totaling nearly 3.25 million shares, with a value of over 116 billion VND.
Particularly, based on the information disclosed as of February 28th, there is a possibility that two out of the three block deals were conducted by VIX Securities Joint Stock Company (HOSE: VIX), with 1.36 million shares on February 6th and 1.65 million shares on February 19th, totaling over 3 million shares. After these transactions, VIX decreased its ownership in HJS to just over 1 million shares, equivalent to a 4.79% stake, and is no longer a major shareholder.

In a different development, PTC has made two announcements of reducing its ownership in HÆ°á»›ng Linh 8 Wind Power Joint Stock Company, specifically from 50.1% to 39% on February 2nd and to 10% on February 23rd, corresponding to a total of nearly 14.4 million shares sold, with a value of nearly 144 billion VND (based on face value).
