Large-scale housing project in Binh Duong commences in TP Mới

SYCAMORE is CapitaLand's first large-scale (18.9ha) residential project in Vietnam, featuring nearly 3,500 apartments, catering to the needs of approximately 13,000 residents in Binh Duong province.

On February 28th, in TP Mới Bình Dương, Capitaland Group (Singapore) held a groundbreaking ceremony for The Orchard SYCAMORE project.

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Nghị, Minister of Construction; Mr. Kho Ngee Seng Roy, Consul General of Singapore in Ho Chi Minh City; as well as leaders from Binh Duong province and some localities in the area.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Hung Dung, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized that this is a large-scale project and a very important location in TP Mới, adjacent to the central park and the administrative center of the province.

SYCAMORE is CapitaLand’s first large-scale residential project (18.9 hectares) in Vietnam, with nearly 3,500 apartments; meeting the needs of about 13,000 residents. The total development value of the project is approximately 18,000 billion VND (about $776 million).

CapitaLand is a group with extensive experience in project development and real estate. Therefore, when the project is formed, it will contribute to the development of TP Mới Bình Dương, and further strengthen the investment cooperation between Binh Duong province and Singaporean partners.

To develop this project, CapitaLand cooperates with UOA Group from Malaysia.
