About 3km away, the police also set up barriers, restricting access to the Phạm Hồng Thái street area, where Mr. Lê Duy Thành – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vĩnh Phúc province resides.

At noon on March 8th, in the area of the former Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quảng Ngãi province, Cao Khoa (Lê Hồng Phong ward, Quảng Ngãi city, Quảng Ngãi province), many cars with blue license plates along with the police appeared.
Some police officers went inside Mr. Khoa’s house. Outside, many people wearing police uniforms stood vigilant.

Mr. Cao Khoa held the position of Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quảng Ngãi province from 2011 to 2014. Mr. Khoa was born in 1954 and is originally from Đức Hòa commune, Mộ Đức district, Quảng Ngãi province.
During his career, Mr. Khoa held various positions including: Secretary of the District Party Committee in Mộ Đức district, Vice Head of the Organization Board of the Provincial Party Committee in Quảng Ngãi, Head of the Office of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Commission of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quảng Ngãi province.
Previously, on February 25th, the Economic Police Department had sent a document to the People’s Committee of Quảng Ngãi province requesting the provision and guidance of all information, records, and documents related to the process of approving investment policies, selecting investors, implementing investment, construction, tax declaration, inspection, and examination… of projects and works carried out by Phúc Sơn Group Joint Stock Company and its subsidiaries as investors, constructors in Quảng Ngãi province.
