In response to the government’s policy of promoting cashless payments as well as increasing convenience for business customers when conducting financial transactions, starting from March 8, 2024, Saigon – Hanoi Bank (SHB) officially launches the port fee payment service on the SHB Corporate Online electronic banking channel.
Accordingly, businesses can easily pay port fees by following these steps: Login to the website link on the computer: https://ibanking.shb.com.vn/corp and select the “Service Payment” item on the Menu bar; choose the “Port Fee” service type; select the service provider; enter the customer code / invoice code; confirm the transaction and sign the confirmation. Immediately, SHB will receive the request and proceed to process the service payment.
According to SHB representative, previously customers had to make direct payment at the provider’s or port’s service location, but now with this new utility, customer fee transactions will be processed immediately, 24/7 anytime and anywhere, helping businesses save maximum time, effort, and cost. In addition, online transactions through the online process will help minimize manual errors and facilitate smooth flow of goods. Port fees will be reconciled and settled in real-time.
Currently, there are 4 port payment service providers that have connected with SHB Corportate Online and will continue to expand in the future, including: Hai Phong International Container Terminal Joint Stock Company, Huong Duong – Giang Nam Logistics Equipment Trading and Services Company Limited, Tan Cang International Container Terminal Company Limited – Cai Mep and Tan Cang – Cai Mep Thi Vai Port Co., Ltd.
