In a commemorative BRC-20 article, UniSat has provided a specific post outlining the latest updates and future direction.

Specifically for BRC-20, UniSat has proposed the self-mining and burning of tokens, laying the technical foundation for issuing stablecoins on the BRC-20 protocol. In addition, this feature update will be used to practice the new SOP process, facilitating the future replication of BRC-20.

As for the standardization of BRC-20 swap, the project is being developed within the L1F framework. Collaboration with indexers is being strongly promoted to optimize the comprehensive development of the Swapping feature. Specific timeline information will be announced by L1F next week. Once standardization is completed, open-source will be provided to the chain sorter and permissionless aggregations will be gradually introduced.

  • Cursed Inscriptions: They have completed the development process and are currently in the testing phase, ready to be launched.
  • Runes: Currently, the project is assessing the potential and the amount of work required to integrate Runes into our ecosystem.
