A new Chinese smartphone brand recently introduced an ultra-budget smartphone called Kejian M60, claiming that the device is equipped with an “unbelievable” hardware configuration: Snapdragon 888 chipset, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and a 6800mAh battery.

According to Sohu and the product description on JD, a Chinese e-commerce platform, Kejian M60 Pro features a modern design with a sleek glass back and a sturdy metal frame. The device has a moderate weight, providing a comfortable grip. It sports a 6.5-inch edge-to-edge display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. However, if you pay attention, the design of this device bears a striking resemblance to the Huawei Mate60 Pro, even looking like a “carbon copy”.

In terms of specifications, Kejian M60 Pro is announced to be equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 888 chipset. This is the flagship chip of 2021 and it still delivers impressive performance in 2024. The device comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. This configuration allows the device to handle smooth multitasking, from high-graphic gaming to video editing. The device also supports 5G, providing fast internet access speed.

Kejian M60 Pro features a rear quad-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, a 114-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front-facing camera has a 16MP resolution. The image quality captured by the device is highly praised for its good detail, vibrant colors, and decent low-light performance.

Kejian M60 Pro is equipped with a 6800mAh battery, providing up to 2 days of usage with normal usage. The device also supports 33W fast charging. It is known that the Kejian M60 Pro does not use Google services, and instead, it relies on Huawei’s services (HMS).

In terms of pricing, Kejian M60 Pro is sold in the Chinese market with a price tag of only 1050 CNY, equivalent to 3.65 million VND. Compared to the hardware configuration of this device, the price of 3.65 million VND is a “bargain” that few smartphones from major brands like Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo… can compete with.

According to our research, it seems that this smartphone does not actually have the powerful hardware as claimed by the manufacturer. Previously, in October, there was a similar smartphone that was also described by the manufacturer as being equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chipset, 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage. However, real unboxing clips revealed that the device only carries the Unisoc T610 chipset, a relatively weak processor commonly found in budget smartphones. The device also only features an HD+ LCD display without a high refresh rate.

The manufacturer also claimed that this smartphone is equipped with Snapdragon 888 chipset, but real unboxing clips exposed the truth about this counterfeit device
