The CEO of Deo Ca Corporation – Mr. Ngo Truong Nam once shared that the Chairman of Ho Minh Hoang Group always jokes that “Investing in people is the cheapest investment”. Deo Ca Company considers its employees as the foundation of its business and is currently improving its management system. It is also collaborating with training institutions to have a high-quality workforce in terms of management, labor, and site expertise.

Recently, on March 7, 2024, Deo Ca Corporation and Dong A University signed a cooperative agreement regarding training and supplying human resources, specifically establishing the Deo Ca Practical Training Institute . The goal of this collaboration is to provide high-quality human resources for Deo Ca Corporation and the transportation industry.

According to Mr. Le Quynh Mai – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Deo Ca Corporation, there is currently a general lack of quantity and quality of human resources in the transportation infrastructure industry. As the domestic transportation infrastructure development potential is huge in the near future, it requires an adequate workforce to meet the demands of the work.

Deo Ca Corporation and Dong A University agreed to establish the Deo Ca Practical Training Institute – under Dong A University. Deo Ca Corporation will introduce key leaders to participate in the Founding Board and the Operating Board of the Deo Ca Practical Training Institute.

The Institute will combine the resources and experience of Deo Ca Corporation in implementing transportation projects and the training strengths of Dong A University to provide practical knowledge and skills, apply new techniques and scientific technology in the field of transportation to learners. The target audience for training priority are students of Dong A University, Deo Ca Corporation’s personnel, and partners.

The Deo Ca Practical Training Institute will organize short-term and long-term training courses ranging from bachelor’s degree programs such as field practitioners (road engineers, railway – metro engineers, etc.) to master’s degree and doctoral programs. The Institute is expected to be launched in April 2024.

In addition, the two parties agreed to establish a branch of Dong A University in Binh Duong province to meet the training needs of practical application engineers for Deo Ca Corporation, its partners, and the domestic transportation industry.

Last October, Mr. Hoang signed the resolution of the Board of Directors on assigning the task of studying and conducting research to improve academic qualifications for personnel involved in management and operation.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors assigns the task of studying and researching to Vice Chairmen of the Corporation’s Board of Directors (excluding independent members of the Board of Directors) participating in the doctoral research program in the assigned field until December 31,2028.

The Board of Directors also assigns the task of studying and researching to the Board of Directors, the Executive Board of member units, and the Headquarters Office (Chief of Office/Deputy Chief of Office, assistants, secretaries, general specialists) participating in the master’s degree program in the assigned field until December 31, 2026.

Individuals who complete the task of studying and conducting research and achieve the degree as required will be commended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors based on the actual situation and the results of their studying and research. For individuals who do not complete the advanced degree programs, depending on the actual situation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors will consider disciplinary action or propose the competent level to impose disciplinary measures such as dismissal, release from duty, job transfer, etc.
