On March 20th, at Bim Son Industrial Park, Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa province, SAB Vietnam Industrial Company Limited, a subsidiary of Weixing Group, held the inauguration ceremony of SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory.
SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory broke ground in July 2022. The factory has a total area of over 66 hectares, with a total investment of about 62 million USD, equivalent to 1,443,220 billion VND. The factory specializes in producing garment accessories such as metal zippers, plastic zippers, nylon zippers, plastic buttons, metal buttons…
When operational, SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory will create employment for over 1,000 skilled workers and is estimated to have an annual revenue of approximately 100 million USD.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thi emphasized that the operation of SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory will contribute hundreds of billions of VND to the state budget annually, contribute to the socio-economic development, and create employment opportunities for local workers. Additionally, the project will contribute to the development of the supporting industry for the textile and garment sector, reducing reliance on imported accessories.
Mr. Thi affirmed that Thanh Hoa province will always accompany the investor to overcome difficulties, create favorable conditions for the factory’s operation and maximize its effectiveness.
To ensure a smooth operation of the factory, Mr. Thi requested the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone and the province’s industrial parks to proactively coordinate with the investor of Zone A – Bim Son Industrial Park to promptly address issues related to electricity supply, water supply, and technical infrastructure for SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory, as well as support and cooperate with the investor throughout the factory’s operation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Cai Liyong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAB Vietnam Industrial Company Limited, affirmed that the company and SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory will comply with Vietnamese laws and regulations during their production and business activities.
Weixing Group was established in 1976 and is headquartered in Zhejiang province, China. The group is active in various fields such as textile accessories, pipeline, optical glass, real estate, finance, hydropower… Among them, the most prominent is the textile accessories manufacturing sector. This is also the area where SAB has the most experience, with over 45 years of experience.
