Another founding shareholder steps down from Yeah1’s board of directors

Yeah1 Group Joint Stock Corporation has just issued Announcement No. 184/2404/CBTT/CTHĐQT/YEG disclosing information on high-level personnel matters.

Specifically, YEG has received a resignation letter from Mr. Dao Phuc Tri for the position of member of the Board of Directors due to personal work reasons.

The company will submit the issue of dismissal and election of additional members to the Board of Directors at the nearest General Meeting of Shareholders.

It is known that Mr. Dao Phuc Tri (born in 1980), with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, is one of the two founding shareholders of Yeah1, together with Mr. Nguyen Anh Nuong Tong.

From 2006 to 2012, he was Business Director. Since 2012, he has been a member of the Board of Directors and General Director.

By September 2023, he resigned from the role of General Director with the reason of focusing on his duties as a member of the Board of Directors and building orientations and strategies in international markets.

According to Yeah1’s 2023 management report, Mr. Tri holds more than 6 million YEG shares, equivalent to 4.59% of the enterprise’s capital.

On the other hand, the Board of Directors of Yeah1 Group has issued Decision No. 147/2404/QD/HĐQT/YEG dated April 10, 2024, appointing Mr. Che Doan Vien to the position of Deputy General Director of the enterprise from April 10, 2024.

Regarding the business situation, in 2023, Yeah1’s consolidated net profit after tax (audited) was 26.5 billion VND, a decrease of 4.6 billion VND, equivalent to 14.81% compared to before the audit due to the additional recognition deferred corporate income tax expense in the period.
