In an interview with The Block, Binance CEO Richard Teng made some interesting declarations surrounding the Bitcoin Halving event, referring to it as a “unique” Halving.
He suggests that this particular Halving is quite different and takes place during a favorable climate for Bitcoin and the crypto market. The Binance CEO recalled how, historically, the price of BTC has increased in the 6 months following each Halving event.
Teng cautioned, however, that the gains Bitcoin has seen have been supported by catalysts other than just the Halving itself. He advises investors to proceed with caution.
