Accordingly, Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway Investment Limited Liability Company has just sent a document to the Ministry of Transport ( GTVT), the Vietnam Road Administration, the Vietnam Expressway Administration , the Highway Management Board III, the Vietnam Automobile Transportation Association, and the Ho Chi Minh Highway Project Management Board regarding the implementation of toll collection for the Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway route under the BOT contract.
Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway Investment Limited Liability Company announced that it will collect electronic non-stop tolls for the Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway from April 26, 2024. This is also the time when the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway is expected to be put into operation.
Accordingly, the toll rate for the Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway is calculated at 1.669 VND/km multiplied by the coefficient allocated according to the vehicle group.
Specifically, Group 1 includes vehicles with less than 12 seats, trucks with a tonnage of less than 2 tons, and is calculated with a coefficient of 1.
Group 2 includes buses, vehicles with 12-30 seats, and trucks with a tonnage of 2-4 tons calculated with a coefficient of 1.3 times.
Group 3 includes vehicles with over 30 seats; trucks with a tonnage of 4-10 tons with a coefficient of 1.7 times.
Group 4 includes trucks with a tonnage of 10-18 tons; vehicles carrying 20-foot containers with a coefficient of 2.7 times
Group 5 includes vehicles with a tonnage of over 18 tons; vehicles carrying goods in 40-foot containers with a coefficient of 3.8 times.
With a length of 49 km, the toll for each vehicle on this expressway ranges from 82,000-311,000 VND per trip.
Previously, the Nha Trang – Cam Lam Expressway project was put into operation in May 2023, and the Basic Acceptance Council accepted its completion and put it into use according to the minutes of acceptance for the completion of the project put into operation and use on January 12.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the State Inspection Council for Construction Acceptance has recently inspected and approved the commissioning of the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway project. It is expected to be officially inaugurated and put into use on April 28.
The Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway project is one of the three component projects of the North – South Expressway invested in the form of a public-private partnership. The project has a total investment of 8,925 billion VND, with a length of 78.5 km, passing through the three provinces of Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, and Binh Thuan.
When the Cam Lam – Vinh Hao Expressway is put into operation, it will contribute to the connection of the longest section of the North – South Expressway in the Southeast and the Central Coast, with a length of about 400 km, starting from Ho Chi Minh City to Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa).
