Major Bank Increases Savings Account Interest Rates Effective Today, April 22

This bank has increased its savings interest rates significantly across a range of terms, with some terms increasing by up to 0.9%.

OceanBank has just adjusted to strongly increase interest rates on savings since today, April 22. The increase ranges from 0.1-0.9 percentage points. 

Specifically, according to the latest online savings interest rate table at OceanBank, the savings interest rate for a 1-month term increased by 0.3 percentage points to 2.9%/year.

Savings interest rates for the 3-month term increased by 0.1 percentage points to 3.2%/year. 

Savings interest rates for the 6-7 month term increased by 0.1 percentage points to 4%/year.

Savings interest rates for the 8-11 month term increased by 0.2 percentage points, listed at 4%/year.

Savings interest rates for the 12-13 month term increased by 0.5 percentage points to 5.4%/year. 

Savings interest rates for the 15-month term increased by 0.6 percentage points, now at 5.5%/year.

For the 18-month term, savings interest rates increased by 0.7 percentage points to 5.9%/year. 

Interest rates for the 24-month term increased by 0.8 percentage points, now listed at 6%/year.

For the 36-month term, savings interest rates increased by 0.9 percentage points to 6.1%/year. This is also the term with the highest savings interest rate increase.

This is also the first time that OceanBank has increased savings interest rates since the beginning of the year.
