Cardano founder has launched a special poll asking his followers about integrating Bitcoin Cash into Cardano.

In a post on X, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson started a poll about turning Bitcoin Cash (BCH) into a Cardano sidechain using advanced blockchain technologies.

Over 12,000 votes have been cast, with around 66% in favor of the proposal.

Hoskinson’s proposal seeks to enhance the functionality of Bitcoin Cash as a companion chain to Cardano by utilizing blockchain technologies such as Proof of Work Leios, NiPoPoWs, and Ergo tech. This would make it the most scalable and useful Proof of Work (PoW) chain.

Bitcoin Cash, a fork of the Bitcoin protocol, was launched in 2017 to address the scalability issues by increasing the block size of the cryptocurrency. Over the years, it has developed a unique community and secured its place in the crypto market.

Despite the ongoing legal challenges faced by proponent Roger Ver, the Bitcoin Cash community remains active with ongoing projects dedicated to improving the usability and adoption of the network.

Roger Ver was recently arrested in Spain and the extradition process to the US has already begun.

Additionally, Hoskinson has shown a keen interest in the ongoing development and future roadmap of Bitcoin Cash. In another post, he asked the community to share details about the ongoing projects in the BCH ecosystem.
