Urgent completion of the adjustment of the Feasibility Study Report for the Land Acquisition, Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Project for Long Thanh International Airport.
The Government Office has just issued Notice No. 177/TB-VPCP dated April 23, 2024, concluding the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, Tran Hong Ha, at the resettlement arrangement meeting for households affected by the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway Project and the Connecting Route T1, T2 to the Residential Area, Resettlement Loc An – Binh Son belonging to the Land Acquisition, Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Project for Long Thanh International Airport.
The Notice states: In Resolution No. 95/2019/QH14 dated November 26, 2019, on the approval of the Feasibility Study Report for the Long Thanh International Airport Phase 1 Investment and Construction Project (Project), the National Assembly added 02 connecting road routes to the Project (route T1 and route T2). The People’s Committee of Dong Nai province reviewed and updated the complete and accurate figures for land acquisition, compensation, support, and resettlement of the connecting routes T1 and T2, clarifying the financial plan, refunding the central budget, and so on to carry out resettlement arrangements in accordance with the provisions of the law. Do not propose to arrange for the resettlement of households affected by the Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway Project to the Residential Area, Resettlement Loc An – Binh Son.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province and the Ministry of Planning and Investment to urgently finalize the submission of the revised Feasibility Study Report for the Land Acquisition, Compensation, Support, and Resettlement Project for Long Thanh International Airport to the Government before April 30, 2024, in order to disburse the capital in 2024.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Transport to preside over and coordinate with the People’s Committee of Dong Nai Province, relevant ministries and agencies, and the Economic Committee of the National Assembly to report to the Standing Committee of the National Assembly for consideration and provide opinions on Section 2 of Document No. 768/UBTVQH15-KT dated March 26, 2024, of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, ensuring compliance with Resolution No. 53/2017/QH14 dated November 24, 2017, of the National Assembly.
