Apple’s latest MacBook Air with the new M3 chip has just hit its lowest price ever at Amazon in the US.
The retailer is taking $110 off the list price of the laptop – and that’s $10 less than the recent $999 it was going for ($989 after a discount, though that’s before tax).
$10 isn’t a huge difference, but it’s still a welcome change considering the MacBook Air has only been out for a couple of months.
The discount applies to all four colors of the 13-inch model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It’s also worth noting that US shoppers can currently pick up the 16GB model on sale for $1,399 (or $100 off the list price) at both Amazon and Best Buy ($1,399 after a discount, though that’s before tax).

In his review of the laptop when it launched last month, my colleague Devindra Hardawar even gave it a score of 90 out of 100.
It’s thin and light but sturdy enough, and the keyboard and trackpad are both very comfortable to use.
The display is bright, with accurate colors, and the battery should last you through a full workday and then some.
The new chip provides a performance boost in our benchmarks, though Devindra didn’t notice a significant difference in real-world tasks – loading apps, editing photos and multitasking all felt just as fast as on the previous-generation MacBook Air with the M2 chip.
As we noted when the M3 MacBook Air first launched, the M2 model is still on sale and is arguably an even better buy now – thanks to deeper discounts and proven performance. Specifically, the 13-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip is down to $849 at Amazon , which is $150 off its list price and the lowest price we’ve ever tracked. It’s a great alternative if you don’t need the latest and greatest.
According to the Apple Store in Vietnam, the 13-inch MacBook Air (M2 chip, 8G, 256GB) is currently listed at VND 27,999,000, the 13-inch MacBook Air (M3 chip, 8G, 512GB) is VND 32,999,000 MacBook Air 15-inch (M3 chip, 16G, 512GB) is VND 37,999,000.
Prices at other retailers are reported to be several million VND lower, with the 13-inch MacBook Air (M3 chip, 8G, 512GB) being around VND 27,990,000. The retail price of dealers is expected to change in the coming days.
