To accelerate the land clearance process and handover of land to the construction unit of the Ring Road 4-Capital Region project, in addition to propaganda activities, Me Linh district has invested in building three resettlement areas. These resettlement areas are located in beautiful locations, convenient for transportation, and invested with a modern and synchronous infrastructure. Currently, all three resettlement areas have basically completed the project components. In which two areas, the district has organized people to draw lots to receive land.

Specifically, in the Noi Dong resettlement area (Dai Thinh commune), the local government has organized 43 households to draw lots for their locations. Of which, 21 households volunteered to receive land early.

In Tan Chau resettlement area (Chu Phan commune), the units organized 98/122 households to draw lots for their locations and receive land. For the remaining households, the District Land Fund Development Center is completing the paperwork to transfer land in May 2024.

As for the Khe Ngoai 2 resettlement area (Van Khe commune), due to outstanding issues related to the compensation plan for the pond land, the garden next to the residential land, the district has not yet organized a lottery and handed over the resettlement land.

People build houses in the resettlement area of Noi Dong village, Dai Thinh commune, Me Linh district.

To remove difficulties and obstacles, and to soon hand over resettlement land to households in Van Khe commune, the Me Linh District People’s Committee recommends that the Hanoi People’s Committee consider resettling households and individuals whose remaining land area after the recovery is diagonal, distorted and is given 1 resettlement land allocation with a minimum area of 80m2.

So far, the Hanoi People’s Committee has agreed to allow Me Linh district to收回10 plots of diagonal, distorted land and to consider resettlement for these cases. The remaining recommendations, the City People’s Committee continues to assign the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to guide the district in implementing compensation, support and resettlement plans according to regulations.

Similarly, in Thanh Oai district, the local government has allocated land to build a resettlement area for 50 households of Yen Nghia ward (Ha Dong district) with a total project investment of 36.4 billion VND.

Currently, the resettlement area has basically completed the technical infrastructure part, which is sufficient for handing over land to households whose land area has been recovered by Ha Dong district.
