Noi Bai Airport
Accordingly, it approved an adjustment to the partial Master Plan for Noi Bai International Airport for the period 2021-2030 for the airport’s infrastructure planning, adding a marshalling area for vehicles and ground equipment at the west of passenger terminal T2’s apron; and adding a practical training center for aircraft rescue and firefighting personnel at the southwest of the airport.
Regarding the planning of the common technical infrastructure system, it added a planning for a high-rise parking garage at the east of the Air Traffic Control Tower together with a connecting transportation system.
Other contents remain the same as in Decision No. 590/QD-TTg dated May 20, 2008 of the Prime Minister and Decision No. 2540/QD-BGTVT dated August 27, 2010 of the Minister of Transport.
The Ministry of Transport assigned the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to take charge of, and coordinate with relevant agencies to manage and implement the plan in accordance with current regulations; to review and finalize the planning documents and drawings to ensure consistency with the approved planning content.
