Honda Vietnam has just announced a promotion program for its car models in May, applied from May 6th.
Accordingly, the CR-V model will be offered with incentives for the G and L 2WD versions. Meanwhile, the two high-end versions L AWD and e:HEV RS still have no promotions.
Specifically, Honda CR-V G manufactured in 2023 (VIN2023) will be supported by the company with 100% of the registration fee and 30 million VND in cash – equivalent to 140 million VND. With the 2023 L VIN version, the company offers 100% of the registration fee and 1 year of body insurance. This registration fee incentive is calculated at a rate of 10%. However, that is just the policy announced by the company. Sales consultants at some dealers are offering Honda CR-V versions G and L VIN2023 at a maximum discount of 170 million VND or 160 million VND with 1 year of body insurance.
After the discount, the Honda CR-V G version will be 939 million VND while the L version is 989 million VND. 
Meanwhile, the B-size duo Honda City and HR-V are both offered with 50% of the registration fee . Customers who buy Honda City will also receive an additional 1 year of body insurance. Honda City has run out of VIN2023 version while customers buying HR-V VIN2023 can get a maximum discount of 80 million VND in cash from the dealer, which is a further reduction of about 45 million VND.
With the Honda Civic, this C-class sedan is only supported with 100% of the registration fee. Notably, the company said that it will directly support 220 million VND in cash for customers who buy the Honda Accord model.
In March 2024, Honda Vietnam sold a total of 2,832 vehicles, an increase of 124.1% compared to the previous month and an increase of 90.2% compared to the same period last year. Total sales since the beginning of the year were 25,553 vehicles, down 1.0% compared to the 2023 fiscal year.
In which, Honda City continues to be the best-selling model of the Japanese brand with sales of 1,043 units, an increase of 63% compared to February, ranking fourth in the entire market and leading the low-end B-class segment. 
With sales increasing by 169% and reaching 759 units, HR-V is Honda’s second best-selling model in March, as well as being in the top 10 best-selling cars in Vietnam and ranking second in the B-class SUV segment.
Ranked third is the Honda CR-V with 649 units delivered to customers, including 467 units using gasoline engines and 182 units of the hybrid version.
The remaining models including BR-V, Civic, Accord and Civic Type R achieved sales of 272 units, 97 units, 11 units and 1 unit, respectively.
