Multi-Generational Living Space in the Heart of the City

In a modern society, the conventional family form characterized by multiple generations residing together under a single roof yields considerable benefits for the extended family. Recognizing these values, the D-HOMME project embodies these needs within the living space of a three-bedroom apartment, facilitating a fulfilling existence for families.

**Multigenerational living: Not a thing of the past**

In the face of societal and technological advancements, multigenerational families have stood the test of time, playing a vital role in fostering familial bonds. From a psychological perspective, living together enables generations to understand each other, strengthening family well-being. The elder generation imparts life experiences, wisdom, and traditional values to the younger generation, while children are nurtured and guided with utmost care. The elderly receive companionship and care, alleviating feelings of isolation and loneliness.

Beyond these emotional benefits, multigenerational living offers financial advantages by sharing expenses and responsibilities related to housing, education, and healthcare. Household chores and family caregiving are also distributed, saving time and energy for each family member amidst the fast-paced urban lifestyle. Multigenerational homes are no longer merely a necessity but a desirable living trend that continues to gain traction.

Mr. Hoang Linh Son (District 08, Ho Chi Minh City) shares, “As a working couple, we often returned home late, leaving us with little time to properly care for our young child. To ease our concerns, we invited our parents to live with us, allowing them to take over the childcare responsibilities.”

At the D-HOMME project’s model apartment, a lively gathering of a three-generation, six-member family reveals their plans for the space: “The balcony will be for the grandparents to grow plants, dad’s workspace, mom’s baking area, and the kids’ room will have a climbing wall with a slide…” Many visitors couldn’t help but feel excited and eager to join in.

“After spending our lives in a traditional house, my parents were initially hesitant about moving. However, the inconveniences of living in a narrow alley, surrounded by only the elderly and children, worried me about potential emergencies while we were both working. After much persuasion, we finally convinced them to view a few projects, but none seemed suitable. The 3BR at this development, however, met all our requirements and preferences. The spacious, well-designed layout, high-quality finishings, and abundance of amenities and conveniences in the immediate vicinity swayed our decision. Thanks to this project, my parents became more open to the idea of living in an apartment, and we were able to make the purchase without further hesitation,” exclaimed Ms. Phuong Loan (District 11) with a smile.

**Prioritizing human development**

Situated at 765 Hong Bang, District 6, the project occupies a central location between the major thoroughfares of Ba Thang Hai, Hong Bang, and Minh Phung. Residents enjoy seamless connectivity to the central districts of 1, 3, 5, and 10. Positioned as a wellness home for Vietnamese families, D-HOMME prioritizes spacious living spaces, catering to multigenerational families. With airy living areas and an innovative “Human” (人) design, all apartments at D-HOMME maximize natural light and ventilation, promoting the physical and mental well-being of occupants, particularly children and seniors.

The 3BR apartments, predominantly corner units, boast panoramic views through large windows, filling the space with fresh air and sunlight. These units feature expansive living and dining areas, allowing ample room for family gatherings. Round dining tables are a popular choice, fostering a sense of togetherness and warmth during mealtimes. Kitchens are generously proportioned, seamlessly connecting to the utility area and balcony, inspiring culinary adventures and memorable family meals. This intelligent design enhances flow and connectivity throughout the home.

Notably, the kitchens in the 3BR and 4BR units are designed as closed spaces to minimize odors. However, a transparent glass wall allows for partial visibility into the dining and living areas, creating a sense of separation while maintaining an open atmosphere. This “semi-open” kitchen design empowers women in their culinary endeavors. To meet the needs of modern, active individuals, all apartments are equipped with European standard Smarthome technology, including FaceID, Digital Key, and Smart Parking.

While spacious living areas cater to extended families, D-HOMME places equal importance on providing a high-quality lifestyle with a comprehensive range of amenities: the 4-story, 25,000 sqm Outsight D-Mall, a chlorine-free electrolytic copper swimming pool, a 120 m infinity pool, a CO2 mineral pool, Aqua Gym, and DHA Healthcare clinic.

The project developer, DHA Corporation, places particular emphasis on healthcare facilities for the elderly, such as a senior center, a Tai Chi exercise area, and a library. Senior residents will thrive in this ecological environment with abundant green spaces, allowing them to relax and socialize with like-minded neighbors. Simultaneously, a nurturing environment for children’s education and recreation is fostered through music and reading gardens, play areas, a children’s pool, a water park, and more.

Currently, DHA Coporation offers attractive incentives for buyers of 3BR and 4BR units during this phase: a flexible payment plan requiring only 25% down payment upon receiving the unit, along with discounts of up to 16%.
