Unlocking Danang’s Potential: City Approves 7 Projects Worth Over VND 1.2 Trillion

On May 24, the Danang People's Council, during its 17th session, discussed and approved investment policies for seven projects, with a total investment of over VND 1,200 billion from the city's budget.

The Da Nang City People’s Council has approved a number of construction projects to be funded by the city’s budget. These projects aim to enhance the city’s infrastructure and support its economic and social development.

The approved projects include the construction of a new archive facility for the Da Nang Administrative Center, with a total investment of over VND 328.3 billion, as well as the improvement of the drainage system and the underground installation of telecommunication and lighting cables on four inner-city roads (Phan Chau Trinh, Le Loi, Hoang Dieu, and Ong Ich Khiem) for nearly VND 382 billion.

Additionally, the council has given the green light to the following projects: a new 10.5-meter-wide road connecting Ho Nghinh and Tran Bach Dang streets, with an investment of over VND 115.1 billion; the construction of a new building for Phu Dong Primary School, costing more than VND 108.7 billion; and the expansion of Phan Dang Luu Primary School, with an investment of over VND 62.7 billion.

Furthermore, a project to upgrade and widen roads in Son Tra District, with a total investment of over VND 103.6 billion, and a project to cover an open canal in the Hong Thai – Tan Trao area in Lien Chieu District, costing over VND 105.5 billion, have also been approved.

Mr. Tran Phuoc Son, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Council, emphasized the importance of these projects in improving the city’s infrastructure and meeting the demands of transportation and civic well-being. He urged the Da Nang People’s Committee to ensure the timely and effective implementation of these resolutions by coordinating with relevant departments and agencies immediately after the meeting.
