For the domestic tourism route with the longest distance, Hanoi – Phu Quoc, there are currently two operating airlines: Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air. According to the Vietnam Aviation Authority, some localities and travel companies have introduced accommodation support programs for passengers choosing to fly during late-night hours. This not only provides passengers with more options and helps reduce travel costs but also contributes to easing transportation pressure for airlines during daytime hours.
It is inevitable that ticket prices fluctuate and are usually higher for bookings made close to the departure date and lower for bookings made well in advance. This trend can occur at any time of the year.
The Vietnam Aviation Authority advises passengers choosing air transport to plan their trips and book tickets in advance through official channels to secure the most suitable ticket prices.
Passengers can also opt for early morning or late-night/overnight flights to take advantage of the airlines’ current promotional rates.
