Lynk & Co has unveiled an upgraded version of its 01 model, with select dealers sharing insights on social media. According to these sources, the new vehicles are the Louder Pro edition, priced at 1.1 billion VND. Previously, the only available variant of the Lynk & Co 01 in Vietnam was the Hyper trim, retailing at 999 million VND.

Along with the price adjustment, the 2024 Lynk & Co 01 will also feature several enhancements in equipment. On the exterior, the vehicle now includes front parking sensors, auto-folding mirrors with memory function, heating, and auto-dimming during reverse, as well as adaptive headlights with automatic control. These additions address previous shortcomings compared to rival models.

Step inside, and you’ll find a significantly upgraded cabin. Firstly, the Louder Pro trim boasts Genuine leather upholstery. Other new features include LED ambient lighting, wireless charging, a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, an 8-way power-adjustable passenger seat, and heating and cooling functions for the front seats, with the cooling option exclusive to the driver’s seat. Additionally, the front windows are now sound-insulated.

In terms of audio, the previous model was equipped with an 8-speaker system, while the Louder Pro variant boasts a 10-speaker Harman Kardon Infinity sound system.
When it comes to safety, the new Lynk & Co 01 introduces a host of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane change alert, and semi-automatic parking assist.
Additionally, over 20 other safety features have been carried over from the previous model, including Bosch’s electronic stability program (ESP) 9.3, highway driving assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane-keeping assist with emergency steering, lane departure warning, and traffic jam assist.
Under the hood, the Lynk & Co 01 continues to be powered by a 2.0L turbocharged gasoline engine, delivering 218 horsepower and 325 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. This powertrain is the most potent in its class. Drivers can choose from three driving modes: Eco, Comfort, and Sport.
Competing in the same segment as the Lynk & Co 01 are the Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5. In terms of equipment, the updated Chinese model surpasses its Japanese rivals. However, the Lynk & Co 01’s price tag is higher than that of the CX-5.
