Exceeding Rigorous Criteria

Dubbed the “Oscars of HR,” the HR Asia Awards 2024 – Best Companies to Work for in Asia (HRAA) has been recognizing exceptional organizations across the region for 11 consecutive years. By applying international standards to Vietnam and other Asian countries, HRAA acknowledges the achievements of businesses, helping them gain global recognition.

LPBank underwent a rigorous two-round evaluation process, meeting international standards applied in major Asian HR markets. These standards encompass three key areas: Enterprise Core Values (company culture and environmental culture); Employee Contribution Value; and Collective Value (spirit/effectiveness/cohesion). HRAA also conducted in-depth interviews with bank representatives to assess their HR policies, employee benefits, and corporate culture. With a score far surpassing the market average, LPBank excelled among strong contenders to be named one of the Best Companies to Work for in Asia in 2024.

This year also marks LPBank’s first participation in these prestigious awards. According to the organizers, LPBank impressed the judges with its high-quality human resources, attractive retention policies, and dynamic corporate culture befitting a leading bank. This recognition serves as a motivation for LPBank’s leadership to further enhance its HR policies and create a people-oriented, professional, and sustainable working environment.

Creating a Happy Workplace

Over its 16-year journey, LPBank has consistently affirmed its reputation as one of the 14 most important Vietnamese banks in the system, ranking among the top 500 most valuable banks globally. With a mission to become “a bank for everyone,” Mr. Ho Nam Tien, CEO of LPBank, shared, “LPBank considers its people as its most valuable asset. We have always prioritized nurturing, training, and developing our human capital to build a strong and capable team. This strategy is integral to our vision of becoming a top-performing joint-stock commercial bank in Vietnam.”

LPBank has been implementing various initiatives to enhance employee experience, offering modern 6-star office spaces

One of the highly commended aspects of LPBank at the HR Asia Awards 2024 was the clear strategic roadmap designed by its Human Resources Management team for its employees. This roadmap has been instrumental in shaping the professional development and improving the productivity of its workforce, aligning with the bank’s overall goals and fostering unity. As part of this strategy, LPBank has introduced numerous initiatives to enhance employee experience, including ESG-compliant workspaces with open areas, office greenery, reading corners, and book-sharing events across its network. The bank also provides dining areas, gyms, and other recreational facilities for its staff. LPBank boasts modern 6-star office spaces in the two largest cities in the country: Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, along with competitive short- and long-term benefits to attract and retain top talent.

Beyond its reputation as the bank with the most scholarship programs and school-building initiatives in Vietnam, LPBank is also striving to become the number one bank in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The bank has contributed over VND 3,500 billion to social and community causes through meaningful programs such as tree-planting campaigns and volunteer activities.
