Saigon Jewelry Company listed the price of gold rings at 76.25 – 77.6 million VND per tael. This is an increase of 150,000 VND per tael for buyers and 100,000 VND per tael for sellers compared to the previous day.

Doji Group also increased the price of gold rings by 150,000 VND per tael, to 76.35 – 77.65 million VND per tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau also raised their gold ring prices by 100,000 VND per tael, with buying and selling prices at 76.38 – 77.58 million VND per tael.

The buying-selling price gap for gold rings narrowed to 800,000 – 1,100,000 VND per tael, depending on the gold brand. After a period of shortage, many gold businesses are now selling gold rings again.

Gold bar prices were listed by gold enterprises at 76.5 – 78.5 million VND per tael for buying and selling. At the four state-owned banks, the selling price of SJC gold bars reached 79 million VND per tael.

Gold businesses are running out of SJC gold bars to sell. State-owned banks have recently changed the timing of gold receipt. Accordingly, the banks will deliver gold bars to customers two working days after the successful registration of gold bar purchase. The buying price will be paid on the gold receipt day.

At the same time, the world gold price is at 2,431 USD/ounce. The world gold price is currently equivalent to 75 million VND per tael, excluding taxes and fees.

In the currency market, August 11th falls on the weekend, so the State Bank of Vietnam kept the central exchange rate unchanged at 24,260 VND/USD. At commercial banks, the USD exchange rate fluctuated around 24,945 – 25,285 VND/USD.
