The State Capital Management Committee at enterprises on August 12 announced the appointment of Mr. Le Quang Vu, Chief Controller of VEC, as a Member of the Members’ Council of the Corporation.

It is known that the new Member of the Members’ Council, Le Quang Vu, has held multiple positions and possesses extensive practical experience in both business and state management. Notably, in the field of transportation, he served as a dedicated Controller and Head of the Control Board at VEC.

Prior to this, in April 2024, Mr. Tran Cong Hoa, Deputy Director of the Information Center (State Capital Management Committee at enterprises), also received a decision to join VEC as a Member of the Members’ Council.

In addition to the Members’ Council personnel, VEC also announced the decision to receive and appoint Mr. Kieu Hung, Deputy General Director of the Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC), as Deputy General Director of VEC for a term of five years.

Previously, Mr. Hung had served as Deputy General Director of SBIC for nearly four years. However, at the beginning of 2024, the parent company of SBIC officially initiated bankruptcy proceedings.
